About me:
In May of 2018, I walked away from a 25-year career in education. I quit.
I'd been coaching teachers and coaches for 17 years and working as a consultant for the county.
This last year I was surrounded by leaders who lacked ... integrity. Some unacceptable things were being swept under the rug.
My passion has always been teaching. Whether it was the kindergarteners I had the honor of working with 25 years ago, or the teachers I coached the past 17 years, it's in my soul.
Now, I'm a making a difference on a much broader scale. I'm able to do what I love, on my terms. I'm able to be a leader who leads with a heart for service, putting others before myself, maintaining the leadership qualities I hold true. Great leaders don't come from a place of power like I witnessed in education.
Great leaders aspire to build others up, creating more great leaders.
